Henderson Beach State Park Remains One of Destin’s Most Visited Landmarks

Henderson Beach State Park Continues to Thrive

DESTIN, Fla. — Henderson Beach State Park continues to be one of the most recognizable and visited destinations along the Emerald Coast, drawing both locals and tourists year-round.

Located just east of central Destin, the park features more than 6,000 feet of protected shoreline, nature trails, and camping facilities. The area is known for its white sand dunes and clear Gulf waters, offering a quieter alternative to more crowded beach access points.

In addition to beach access, the park includes walking paths, picnic areas, and educational signage highlighting local ecosystems. Seasonal events and environmental programming are also held throughout the year.

Henderson Beach remains a staple of Destin’s identity and a consistent draw for visitors exploring beyond hotel beachfronts.
